UPD: According to information from the Prosecutor's Office, eight people, including one child, have been reported dead, and ten others injured as a result of a missile strike on a residential area in Sumy.
As reported by Suspilne and confirmed by OVA Head Volodymyr Artyukh, two children are among the deceased.
UPD: Evacuation efforts are ongoing in Sumy from the damaged building following the missile strike on the city. Over 400 people have been evacuated so far.
Currently, eight fatalities and 49 injuries have been reported. A support center has been set up at Kindergarten No. 9, where victims can seek assistance.

Today, Russia carried out a missile strike near a nine-story residential building in Sumy.
📌 Tragically, the attack claimed the lives of 10 people, including two children. A total of 51 people were injured, five of whom are children.
Rescue workers and all necessary services continue to operate at the scene of the tragedy. Over 400 residents have been evacuated from damaged buildings.
A State Emergency Service (SES) resilience center has been set up. SES psychologists are providing support to those affected.
Additionally, window glazing in six ten-story buildings has been damaged, and four vehicles have been destroyed. Rescue teams are conducting a door-to-door inspection of all damaged buildings to ensure no corner is left unchecked and to locate any victims.
